Take Action: Send a letter of support for grant-paid employees at Dalhousie University

Grant-paid employees provide critical ideas, talent, and labour necessary for research conducted at Dalhousie. It is time to call on the Dalhousie administration to listen to them at the bargaining table, specifically on their proposals around wages and leave.

Grant-paid employees, and all workers, deserve fair wages that keep up with surging inflation. They need leave provisions that allow them to have an adequate work-life balance.

Join us in calling on Dr. Kim Brooks, Dalhousie’s President and Vice-Chancellor, and Dr. Louise Spiteri, Dalhousie’s Senate Chair, to respect the hundreds of grant-paid employees who make Dal Atlantic Canada’s primary research-intensive university, recognized for the outstanding quality of its research and innovation.
