  • Rocky Harbour Regional Women’s Committee hosted Dec 6th National Day of Action Service

  • Attended the NLFL Women’s Committee meeting Dec 7th –Dec 9th

  • Rocky Harbour Regional Women’s Committee participated jointly with Local 90265, in entering a float in Rocky Harbour annual Santa Claus Parade highlighting Harpers cuts to Public Services, Dec 8th

  • The Rocky Harbour Women’s Committee, received recognition in Member’s Statement recognizing work of our committee in highlighting women’s equality in society on Dec 10th from MHA, (Member of House of assembly), Jim Bennett. As Chair of Committee I was very excited that our Committee received this recognition.

  • Participated in Women’s teleconference call Dec 11th

  • Participated in conference call with NLFL Education /Women’s Committee for planning of NLFL Women’s Conference April 2012, Jan 4th

  • Participated in CCPA & PSAC media event on Atlantic Canada Fisheries in St John’s Jan 9th
