A large crowd gathered at Victoria Park for food (BBQ, corn, ice-cream) music, and to hear guest speakers; Barb Byers, CLC Vice-president and Carl Percy, President of the PEI Federation of Labour.
PSAC members Dawn Hardy and Heather Ford had a table with a quilt encouraging members and friends to sign and write messages to Stephen Harper, telling him how they are affected by Government cuts to services.
Debi Buell, Vice-president of the PEI Federation of Labour also worked with the Federation of Labour to ensure the picnic was a success.
