Helping others on International Human Rights Day

On December 10th, members of the Greater Moncton PSAC Human Rights committee volunteered their time and energy to help the local food depot prepare Christmas boxes.  Over all, they helped packing 166 boxes that will be distributed to food banks around Moncton and Shediac this holiday season.

Usually the Food Depot gets up to 3000 families in need of those boxes, only for Moncton and surrounding area.  They have 1500 families already registered for a Christmas box this year.  Very sad but true, yes there is poverty everywhere, and …
