Join us for a crucial discussion on the 1901 Militia Pensions Act, which denies automatic survivor pensions to Veterans’ spouses who marry after age 60 under the Canadian Forces Superannuation Act. This outdated and discriminatory clause unfairly affects the financial security of many, particularly women, labelling them as “gold diggers”. Let’s unite to raise awareness, and advocate for a fairer future for Veterans and their families.
