NS – Halifax Young Workers’ Committee Annual General Meeting – January 10th at 5:30 p.m.

The Halifax YWC is holding their 2023 AGM on January 10, 5:30pm at the PSAC Office (172 Garland Ave. Dartmouth). This will be a hybrid event and the Zoom link will be sent, along with the agenda, prior to the meeting. If you would like any items added to the agenda, please let us know.
 
New members are welcome! All young workers (age 35 and under) across Nova Scotia are invited to attend this meeting. If you would like to start a regional branch, we are happy to support you with getting it set up!
 
Join us to hear what events are happening in 2023. At this meeting we will be discussing resolutions to be put forward at the upcoming PSAC Atlantic Regional Convention. We will also be holding elections for Committee Vice-Chair, and Treasurer. The definition of these roles can be found in the Halifax Young Workers Committee By-Laws Section 12, as well as the PSAC Young Workers Committee Handbook page 9. Anyone interested is encouraged to run in the election, regardless of experience. The YWC will work with PSAC to train you.
