By the end of this 1-day workshop representatives will:

Be able to apply ETP provisions to workplace situations.

Review the employment transition policy provisions in the collective agreement and identify key components and provisions to help them guide members through the process effectively and confidently.

Identify the roles and responsibilities of all parties (Agency, Employee, Union, Union Representative) when an ETP situation is initiated.

View employment transition from a human rights perspective

Discuss strategies and tools for supporting the positive mental health of members who are affected by employment transition from a trauma-informed perspective

Identify resources to support Local union representatives who advocate for members in ETP situations
