Convention of the Liberal Party of Canada

The Liberal Party of Canada held its national convention in Halifax April 19 – 21. On April 20th, PSAC members delivered two flyers to the delegates. The first flyer was on the Phoenix Pay System which called on the Liberal Party to stop forcing workers who have mistakenly received overpayments, to pay back the gross amount. It also reminded the governing party of the basic principle that every worker should be getting paid correctly and on time, every time. The second flyer was on the need for a universal, high quality child care system in Canada.
