PSAC ATLANTIC 2026 REGIONAL CONVENTION –  NOMINATIONS 

Delegates to the 2026 Atlantic Regional Convention from June 26-28, 2026 will be electing the Atlantic Regional Executive Vice-President, Alternate Regional Executive Vice-President, and all Regional Council Directors. 

Nominations may be submitted between APRIL 2, 2026 to MAY 15, 2026.

Nominations procedure

You will find below nomination forms for the positions of Regional Executive Vice-President and Alternate Regional Executive Vice-President and all Regional Council Directors.

The nomination form (below) must be submitted electronically to Associate Director, Atlantic Region, Holmann Richard via email at RichardH@psac-afpc.com. Should a candidate, nominator or seconder be unable to sign and scan the nominations form, PSAC will accept an email confirmation from the candidate, nominator, and/or seconder as attestation of their signatures.

Nominations are also accepted on the convention floor for all positions. You must be a delegate to nominate or to second any nomination. Only delegates for their respective province or equity-seeking group can participate and vote in the caucuses.

Declared Candidates – what they get from PSAC:

Declared candidates are those who have filed their nomination papers, thereby officially declaring they are running for office. 

Positions of REVP and Alternate REVP 

All declared candidates for the positions of REVP and Alternate REVP are entitled to receive: 

1. Two sets of mailing labels (hard copy) of the registered delegates and registered observers to the Regional Convention. 

2. An electronic list of the names and email addresses of all registered delegates and registered observers with their Component or DCL affiliation are to be provided in PDF format.

Council/Equity Positions Elected in Caucuses 

All declared candidates for positions elected in caucuses at Regional Conventions are entitled to receive: 

1. Two sets of mailing labels (hard copy) of the registered delegates and registered observers who have self-identified in their specific election caucus. 

2. An electronic list of the names and email addresses of registered delegates and registered observers who have self-identified in their specific election caucus with their Component or DCL affiliation are to be provided in PDF format.
