NS – HRM RWC – Tackling Taboos: Demystifying Menopause – November 17, 2025

PSAC’s Halifax Regional Women’s Committee invites PSAC members to attend a discussion with Shawna O’Hearn from the Menopause Society of Nova Scotia.

Ms. O’Hearn is an occupational therapist and holds a PhD focused on the experience of perimenopause. Her research explores menopause, women’s health, gender equity, community engagement and diversity.

The event will take place in person at 172 Garland Avenue, Dartmouth NS on Monday, November 17 from 6:00 to 7:15pm. A virtual option is not available for this event.

The last committee meeting of 2025 will take place immediately following the presentation.
