We are thrilled to announce that the 14th PSAC Atlantic Regional Women’s Conference will be held at the Delta Beausejour in Moncton, New Brunswick from March 7 – 9, 2025.
The conference theme is Healthy Women, Healthy Union.
This conference will endeavor to strengthen the PSAC Women’s Program at the regional level by building stronger connections between the Regional Women’s Committees, Regional Council Directors and local activists.
CONFERENCE DATES AND TIMES: March 7th – 3:00 p.m.– 5:00 p.m. AST March 8th – 9:00 a.m.– 5:00 p.m. AST March 9th – 9:00 a.m.– 12:00 p.m. AST RESOLUTION SUBMISSION DEADLINE: January 17, 2025 CONFERENCE LOCATION: Delta Beausejour, 750 Main Street Moncton, New Brunswick REGISTRATION DEADLINE: December 6th, 2024 Applications received after the deadline will NOT be accepted. Participants will be notified of their delegate status through email. |
PSAC women members in good standing may apply to be a participant at this conference. The selection will also strive to ensure that participants reflect the diversity of the membership within PSAC.
You are encouraged to inform members in your Local to ensure they are aware of this conference. Bulletin boards may not always be accessible, and many people now work exclusively from home. Additional outreach is therefore important and necessary.
French and English simultaneous interpretation will be provided.
FUNDING FOR PARTICIPANTS:
Participants are entitled to the following:
- travel costs, including ground transportation;
- hotel accommodation costs will be direct billed to PSAC;
- loss of salary;
- meals;
- incidental costs;
- family care as per the Family Care Policy http://psacunion.ca/family-care-policy; and
- costs related to accessibility requirements (based on pre-approval).
Please note: When applying online, you should receive a confirmation email that your application form has been received successfully. This does not guarantee your seat at the Conference. You will be notified by email before January 17, 2025, if you have been selected.
