“Empowering Bravery through ReconciliACTION for Atlantic Indigenous Members”
We are thrilled to announce that the Indigenous Gathering 2025 will be held at the Hampton Inn – Homewood Suites in Halifax, NS from June 13-15, 2025.
The gathering theme is Empowering Bravery through ReconciliACTION for Atlantic Indigenous Members.
This gathering will endeavor to build momentum and empower indigenous members to action through sharing circles.

Participants will be notified of their delegate status through email. |
PSAC members in good standing who self-identify as Indigenous (FNMI) may apply to be a participant at this gathering. The selection will also strive to ensure that participants reflect the diversity of the membership within PSAC.
You are encouraged to inform members in your Local to ensure they are aware of this gathering. Bulletin boards may not always be accessible, and many people now work exclusively from home. Additional outreach is therefore important and necessary.
French and English simultaneous interpretation will be provided on an as-needed basis as noted in the accepted delegates’ registration forms.
FUNDING FOR PARTICIPANTS:
Participants are entitled to the following:
- travel costs, including ground transportation;
- hotel accommodation costs will be direct billed to PSAC;
- loss of salary;
- meals unless provided as per the PSAC Travel Policy;
- incidental costs;
- family care as per the Family Care Policy; and
- costs related to accessibility requirements (based on pre-approval).

Please check your spam folder a few weeks after the deadline if you have not received it yet. You will be notified by email by April 23, 2025, if you have been selected.
