REGISTRATION CLOSED 2025 PSAC Atlantic Regional Health, Safety & Environment Conference

“A Collaborative Approach to a Better Workplace”

We are thrilled to announce that the 2025 PSAC Atlantic Health, Safety & Environment Conference will be held at the Delta Marriott Beausejour in Moncton, New Brunswick from June 6-8, 2025.

The conference theme is“A Collaborative Approach to a Better Workplace”.

The conference will endeavor to bring together activists to develop skills and strategize on ways to improve the health and safety of workers.  Participants will also learn how climate change is impacting the workplace.

CONFERENCE DATES AND TIMES:  
June 6 – 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.                                                                                  
June 7 – 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.                                                                                   
June 8 – 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE:    April 11, 2025    

Applications received after the deadline will not be accepted.

Participants will be notified of their delegate status through email.

Workplace health and safety committee members, representatives or policy committee members may apply to be a participant at this conference.  In addition, if you are a member of an environmental group at the workplace or in your community you are also invited to apply.

The selection will also strive to ensure that participants reflect the diversity of the membership within PSAC.

FUNDING FOR PARTICIPANTS:
Participants are entitled to the following:
– travel costs, including ground transportation;
– hotel accommodation costs will be direct billed to PSAC;
– loss of salary;
– meals;
– incidental costs;
– family care as per the Family Care Policy http://psacunion.ca/family-care-policy; and
– costs related to accessibility requirements (based on pre-approval).

OBSERVERS:
If the number of participants allows, it will be possible to welcome observers. However, observers are responsible for all costs associated with their participation.

Please note: When applying online, you should receive a confirmation that your application form has been received successfully. This does not guarantee your seat at the Conference. 

You will be notify by email before April 30, 2025, if you have been selected.
