PSAC Atlantic is excited to announce the formation of a steering committee for the 2025 PSAC Atlantic Pride (2SLGBTQIA+) Summit scheduled to take place in Halifax, Nova Scotia from October 17-19, 2025.
The Committee will be comprised of PSAC 2SLGBTQIA+ members from all four Atlantic provinces, who are actively engaged in our union. Please note that selection for the committee does not guarantee acceptance as a participant in the Summit itself.
The steering committee will contribute to the tone and direction of the Summit by;
- Participating in virtual meetings on weekday evenings through the coming year leading up to the Summit
- Developing recommendations for the theme, objectives, agenda and content of the Summit, subject to the approval of the REVP
Committee members in attendance may also play a role at the Summit, like directing participants, welcoming / introducing speakers, leading events etc.

Applicants will hear whether they have been accepted as a committee member by email shortly after the application deadline has passed.
