It has been a very busy year in my new role which has been very educational.
I attended my first council meeting in October, 2013 in Saint John NB. The Regional Council has 6 committees; I sit on the Human Rights Committee and Political Action Committee.
I Attended the Equity Conference in Toronto in November of which I had the opportunity to meet many members from all over Canada along with equity members from the Atlantic that I had the opportunity to work with.
On December 10th, I attended the dedication ceremony of the PSAC Halifax boardroom in the memory of Dr. Calbert Best.
I appreciate all of the support from both PSAC staff and the membership. Feedback is always appreciated and I will continue to do my job and keep you informed of all information as it develops.
