The PSAC Greater Moncton Area Council with the participation of some members of the Moncton Regional Women’s committee and the Human Rights committee was present at the Moncton Labour Day with other Unions. The attendance was probably the largest one to date.
Beside giving away goodies, offering tickets for a draw, members working the kiosk were able to promote Public Services, the Childcare for all campaign and collect signatures on the Pharmacare petition and signatures on another one going to the City of Moncton Council asking them to consider at the very least to bring back the operation of the water system under the Public control.
Finally, members were also able to have a conversation with the Moncton-Dieppe-Riverview liberal MP, Ginette Petitpas Taylor who visited the kiosk.
