Steps for Life 2021
05/08/2021 - 05/08/2021
10 AM - 10:30 AM
PSAC Members are invited to the annual Steps for Life Virtual Event.
Normally they plan a walk in Charlottetown but due to COVID-19, they are having a virtual event this year. The event helps raise funds and awareness for Threads of Life, a Canadian registered charity that helps support families after a workplace fatality, life-altering injury or occupational disease.
The virtual event will include a short presentation by Elwin Watts. Elwin was severely injured while helping to construct the Confederation Bridge in 1994. He will share inspiring details about his recovery.
The attached poster provides details on how to register. Registration is free this year.
More details on the event can be found on their website at http://events.threadsoflife.ca/site/TR/StepsForLife/General?pg=entry&fr_id=1228
You can find them on Facebook by searching for Steps for Life – Charlottetown.
The event is happening at 10am on Saturday, May 8. It will be approximately 30 minutes. Members are then encouraged to go for a walk in their communities after the virtual event.
