Any union member or organization may nominate a candidate. We know that unions have made a real difference in making workplaces more accessible for workers with disabilities. This award gives us a chance to recognize the dedication and leadership of disability rights activists within our movement who have worked hard to raise these
issues and ensure that they remain a priority. Let us celebrate how unions promote fairness for workers with disabilities while recognizing the outstanding contribution of our activists.
