The Charlottetown Regional office of the Public Service Alliance of Canada held a pension information session on February 23rd, at the Charlottetown Hotel. Mark Brunell, National President of the Government Services Union, presented the real facts about our public service pension to an audience of 100+ and answered the questions and concerns of the members.
There was a strong message to keep getting signatures on the petitions, call and write your MP’s and talk about this issue until Ottawa gets the message to “keep their hands off our pensions”.
The Charlottetown Regional Office forwarded petitions to Ottawa with over 1500 signatures. Other members completed the on line petition.
