My heart goes out to the families and loved ones of those killed or injured in the brutal attack at Pulse Nightclub, a gay bar in Orlando Florida.
As a member of the GLBT community, I speak for myself and my partner, and offer our sincere condolences for those killed and wish a speedy recovery to those injured.

On June 8, the Public Service Alliance of Canada will be mobilizing its members who work with Treasury Board, including at Parks Canada, the Canadian Border Service Agency, Canada Revenue Agency and the Canadian Food Inspection to demand a quick and fair resolution to contract negotiations with their employers and to support their bargaining teams. Carl Gannon, National President of the Union of Veterans’ Affairs Employees will be in attendance.
PSAC and other federal public service unions are calling on all members to help send a message to the new Liberal government by participating in a national action on June 8th.
The new Liberal government promised respect for federal public service employees. It said it would do things differently than the former Conservative government. Yet, it has been more than six months since the Liberals were elected and there has been no meaningful progress at any of the federal bargaining tables.
