Dear members, committee chairpersons and activists,
The second year anniversary of the Phoenix Pay System – also known as the Phoenix debacle – is fastly approaching.
PSAC and its members need to highlight this sad anniversary in order to add continued pressure on this government to take action to fix this once and for all. We will be launching a nationwide petition calling the government to:

With a tentative agreement reached with Canada Post, our union is preparing for the ratification voting process.
Ratification meetings will be held from January 22 to February 21, 2018.

The Public Service Alliance of Canada will be holding an electronic vote for members of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency to ratify the tentative agreement between PSAC and CFIA.
The voting period will open on January 22 and close February 22, 2018 at 12 p.m.
Meetings will be held by webinar for all members, in addition to face-to-face meetings organized in some regions.

Hello to all PSAC members in the Atlantic Region,
When I attended the PSAC Atlantic Regional Convention in June of this year, I had not had any intentions of running for any position. I was in attendance as an observer, and I was planning on observing and learning.
I also planned to help where I could. Helping is what I like to do, whether it’s through supporting my fellow union brothers and sisters in their pursuits, or educating members at the local level about the importance of union engagement.

The mandate of the Social Justice Fund (SJF) is to support initiatives in five priority areas:
1-Anti-poverty initatives in Canada;
2-Humanitarian assistance in Canada and around the world;
3-International labour development;
4-Worker-to-Worker exchange; and
