  • The Western Newfoundland Area Council in conjunction with the Regional Women's Committees on the West Coast will be having their third "Strolling Strong for Child Care" walk event in Corner Brook on Friday, October 30th at noon- starting near Tim Horton’s on Mount Bernard Avenue, near the Valley Mall.

    The walk will begin near Tim Horton’s and continue down to the intersection on Main Street, across the bridge, cross the next intersection, and back again. The time for the walk will be about 35 to 40 minutes. There will then be coffee/ tea for participants following the walk.

  • The Western PEI Women’s Committee is organizing a “Strolling Strong for Child Care” event at the Credit Union Place in Summerside on Friday, October 30 at 12:00 NOON to bring the need for Affordable Child Care for all back to the forefront of the minds of the public and government!! 
    This has been a need for many years and affects everyone.  In the recent Throne Speech, the government has committed to making this a priority and that the time is now to make it happen!!!

  • The Greater Moncton Area Council is having their AGM on Tuesday, November 17th, 2020 at 6:00 PM.  Because of COVID-19, this meeting will take place by skype/conference call.  See poster attached for the proposed agenda and information on how to join in the call as well as the nomination form.
