On behalf of the REVP Atlantic, Jeannie Baldwin, we are pleased to announce that the 6th Triennial Atlantic Regional Convention of the Public Service Alliance of Canada will be held at the Saint John Trade and Convention Centre, Saint John, N.B. June 20-22, 2014.

The Convention will commence at 9:00 AM on Friday, June 20 and will adjourn by 12 Noon on Sunday, June 22.

We will not be using online registration as announced previously. Attached are all the documents you need to apply for to be a convention delegate.

Advanced Duty to Accommodate (Bilingual - with translation)

This course will help members to develop a broader capacity of effective representation on the issue of duty to accommodate for members with disabilities.  Applicants should be union representatives who have had some training and exposure to issues related to duty to accommodate and have previously taken the introduction to DTA. (This course is bilingual (with translation).  Attached is the poster for more information and the application form.

This year’s theme is “Make Poverty an Election Issue”.  As you may know, the N.B. provincial election will be on September 22, 2014 and this issue of poverty reduction is to be of utmost importance for all political parties.   If you are interested, please follow instructions in the enclosed information.
